First of all you need to know that this is Tethered Jailbreak; now what does this mean? Whenever you reboot your device you will have to connect it to your PC and re-run Redsn0w. - Your device should be running iOS 6.1.3 ( if not then download iOS 6.1.3 and Update it through iTunes)
- Download iOS 6.0 between iOS 6.1.2 from here
- Make sure you Backup of your iPhone in iTunes.

The following are the instructions to tethered jailbreak your iPhone 4 running on iOS 6.1.3.
STEP 1: First Download Redsn0w.
STEP 2: Make sure you have downloaded iOS 6.0 or iOS 6.1.2
STEP 3: Now extract the zip file on your desktop. And Launch Redsn0w
STEP 4: Now to start jailbreak process click on Extras Button
STEP 5: Then hit the Select IPSW Button
STEP 6: Now select iOS 6.0 IPSW file, which you must have downloaded before!
STEP 7: Redsn0w shall give a confirmation message that this will be used through out this jailbreak session. Just hit OK.
STEP 8: Now click on Back Button and then hit the Jailbreak Button.
STEP 9: Through this step Redsn0w will start preparing Jailbreak Data for your iPhone 4.
STEP 10: Now from the options check “Install Cydia” and click Next to Proceed
STEP 11: Here you are then asked to Switch Off your iPhone completely.After your device is off click on Next Button.
STEP 12: After step 11 Redsn0w will guide you how to enter your device into DFU Mode.

STEP 13: After DFU Mode Redsn0w will show you a message saying, “Exploiting with limera1n”
STEP 14: Redsn0w will now reboot your iPhone 4.
STEP 15: Redsn0w will now upload Ramdisk to your device.
STEP 16: As the ramdisk uploading completes, Redsn0w will then confirms that you have successfully tethered jailbreak your iPhone 4.
STEP 17: Now what you need to do is click on Back Button and headover to Extras
STEP 18: And click on Just Boot
