Apple TV 2: How to install NitoTV and XBMC Using Nito installer

Now it has become so easier to install NitoTV to your second generation Tv but with the only limitation that you should be Jailbroken before you proceed. Therefore it is compulsory that you should jailbreak your Apple TV 2 using Seas0nPass before you proceed further. Follow the step by step guide to install NitoTV and XBMC on your Apple TV 2 using Nito Installer.

What do You Need to Install NitoTV and XBMC

Download Nito Installer for Windows and Mac
Jailbroken Apple TV 2
PC

STEP 1:

First of you must Download Nito installer for windows or Mac

STEP 2:

Now launch the Nito installer.

STEP 3:

Now Choose your Apple TV 2 from the Drop down menu. ( Note that you must connect your Apple TV and PC to same internet connection otherwise it may show up over here in the drop down menu)

STEP 4:

Now click on the install NitoTV Button. It may ask you for password; the default password is “frontrow” if you already haven’t changed! ( You have to be patience cause it can take up to 8 to 10 minutes)

STEP 5:

After the step 4 completes you will notice that your device will reboot and a green check showing you that NitoTV has been installed on your device.

Now installing XBMC Using Nito installer

It is the same process as did it installing NitoTV via Nito installer. Now lets go to install XBMC on your Apple TV 2. Follow the Steps:

STEP 1: Click on install XBMC

STEP 2: Like NitoTV it will also take a few minutes to install, So be patience and wait for the Nito installer message confirming that XBMC has been Installed on your Apple TV 2.
