Odin is a Windows based firmware flashing app for Samsung Android phones and tablets devices, which is used to manually flash the Firmwares, Custom ROMs and Kernels. If you’re an advance Android user, then probably you’ll be familiar with this tool when flashing the firmware and Kernels. Unfortunately this tool is not available for Mac users, however there is an alternative tool for Mac OS X platform and I have given an alternative link for Mac users. Currently Samsung Odin is only compatible with Windows Platform. As of now, Odin v3.1o is the latest and updated version, which is almost compatible with all Samsung Android devices and is also the stable version with improved UI and is user friendly.
There is also Mobile version of Odin that is Mobile ODIN by Chainfire which is a premium app available on Google play store and you need to have root access in order to use Mobile Odin.
