How to change default Android boot animation in recovery

When you turn on your phone boot animation is the first thing to appear. Well these animations are the boring part of your android phone. If you are having a galaxy s5 you would be seeing some bright colors roaming around a Samsung logo. And if you are having Nexus 5 you would be seeing some colored circles. These animations can be switched to make turning on your phone a bit exciting. Here is how you can do it.

There is a method in which you can simply replace the existing boot animation file with the new one in a root file manager. If you are a Modder then this method would be even more faster. In this you just need to find the suitable animation you like. We would recommend you Motorola animation with monsters and UFOs from April 1st.

After you have found the best animation just download it to your phone, reboot into recovery and flash it. Nexus 5 switch off their device, press and hold power and volume down to get to fast boot and just enter recovery using the volume keys to navigate and power button to confirm. In the recovery process just use the same buttons to install zip and locate the boot animation zip you just downloaded and flash it. Then you just have to reboot and you will see the outcome of your improvisation.

If you have got a different phone in this case the  procedure will be different off course. Don’t worry we have got it read the instructions below for the procedure.

  1. Download the boot animation zip file from HERE.
  2. Go to “install zip” and press it.
