How to Downgrade iPad 2 or iPad 3

This is a step by step tutorial which guides you to downgrade your iPad 2 and 3 using Redsn0w tool. Now there is something you should before Downgrading your iPad, which I think is necessary for you to know before you proceed:

  • By Downgrading your iPad 2 or iPad 3 your Baseband will also be updated, so if you are waiting for an unlock then you should not go for this tutorial.
  • You will need SHSH Blobs of your Device, so make sure you have saved your SHSH Blobs Using Redsn0w or TinyUmbrella.
  • You will also need to download the current firmware of your iPad 2 or 3.
  • Also you have to download the iOS Firmware for iPad you want to downgrade to.

Now if you qualify for the above requirements then you are ready to downgrade your iPad 2 or iPad 3.

STEP 1: First of all download Redsn0w for iPad.

STEP 2: To proceed downgrading process for iPad, launch Redsn0w application.

STEP 3: Click on “Extras” from the Redsn0w Menu
